RE: GNOME 3.8 Release Notes
Hi Enrico, Gil and others, Yes, it sounds like we have a good progress of 10% with Tajik translations. As you noticed some files has just a few messages translated, so that is OK to leave them in Damned Lies to complete later and commit as 100% translated. The Damned Lies portal is wonderful and very comfortable to manage translations. I really like the User management part and options on how the team members can inform each other about the work process through statuses and comments. Great job on the portal! Hope to see new version of Gnome with some Tajik language soon. It will allow to share Gnome software in Tajik with friends and colleagues, and of course, try to receive their comments to improve the quality of our translations for future releases. I look forward to get more details on how to work with git to commit future works, and that will be really helpful to receive some screenshots about how to do the basic steps. Thank you and have a wonderful day! By the way, do you have Gnome files for translation at GitHub? I support Tajik translations for PoEdit and GoldenDict at https://github.com/Ibragimov I just thought if I could add Gnome repository at github.com for file submissions, if available. Re: Typos in documentation tags
Hi again. As promised, here is the updated report about typos in documentation tags. If your language is on the list, please review and fix to avoid errors when compiling the affected modules. Below is the list of the languages with errors. Please note that this report reflects typos in ALL the documentation files. Since we are near the 3.8 release, maybe you'll want to focus your efforts in just the core modules. If someone wants it, I can generate a report with just the typos in core documentation.
