D-L and git cherry-pick

2014-03-20 Thread Rafael Ferreira
Hi there,

Sorry if this was answer somewhere else, but does Damned Lies have 'git
cherry-pick' function implemented when sending translations via webUI?
(e.g. sending translation to repository in a 'gnome-3-12' branch, will it
go to 'master' too)

Thanks,
Rafael Ferreira

No, Damned Lies has currently no such capability. It would be a bit
fragile though, because it would only work when no other commit has been
done in the mean time to the po file in master.
It could be implemented with a try-and-cancel-if-error strategy. Feel
free to file a enhancement bug report.

Shell strings code freeze break

2014-03-20 Thread Zeeshan Ali (Khattak)
Hi,

Although I realize that its very late to ask for this but if its at
all possible, we'd like to ask for a string freeze break and also code
freeze break for improving the location setting strings in
gnome-shell:

https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=726498

New strings are:

Enable
Disable
In Use

First two are action items to enable or disable the location tracking
while last one is to show that location tracking is enabled and
currently in use by at least 1 application.

But I also see Enabled and Disabled in the patch?

Yeah but they are used elsewhere in the code already and therefore
translated, AFAICT.
