Documentation updates being made to Orca
Hey all. I just wanted to give you a heads-up that Orca's documentation is getting a full review to be sure that it is 100% current with respect to content. I don't anticipate there being that many changes, but I plan to commit them as we go. And I have learned by experience that some of you translate changes I make in Orca within mere hours of my committing them. In this particular case, since I know there will be some more commits to come, I encourage you to take a very-well-deserved rest now that 3.12 is out the door. When we're done with the Orca documentation review and changes, I'll give y'all the all-clear. Please let me know if you have any questions. With GNOME app generic names, some sentences like "Software Has Grown
Up" are confusing. Just wondering if we could, for example, float a
little GNOME foot, the same way we would have a '(tm)' sign. Something

Basically, if English is listed in my language list (which was as *lowest* priority, after Portuguese and Portuguese (Brazil) ), GNOME websites appear in English, while IMHO it should behave just as a fallback. P.s.: This language list (that includes English as lowest priority) came in my distribution (Arch Linux). Release notes 3.12 are not translated to the Slovak language. User visiting https://help.gnome.org/misc/release-notes/3.12/ see the Slovak release notes for 3.10 instead the English version for 3.12. Enable translation for subtitle for "Introducting GNOME 3.12" video
Hi there, I just notice this video [1], which I think is a great idea for reaching more users. However, why not allow language teams to translate subtitles and make the vide more accessible for those who don't understand english very well ?
