Then you can't translate master as it happens in GNOME, but only shapshots from time to time. You could send the PO for masted directly to developers (bug), but this could be really unpolite. I agree with impoliteness. I'll swollow the need and wait for the releases. The problem in this case is that I will need to remind myself to check. For other packages DL does it for me. I think there is an option to receive mail for each new POT file sent to the TP. See with your team or the TP coordinator for more about this. Yes, there are several types of notifications from the TP. One of them is an e-mail which has the new .po file that has been submitted and translated. If someone wants to take this further, they could contact TP and the gstreamer developer so that they make use of these notifications. The problem is with the process of the developer taking up the new translations which currently looks like it is manual. The status page from TP shows the translation percentage of the *latest release* which means the status of the latest po files sent by the developers to the TP robot, while our status page shows the current state from the Git/SVN, respectively. Vertimus merges the current po files with the latest changes in Git/SVN, the TP robot doesn't do so. You shouldn't compare this. Perhaps it should be a good idea to use the percentages from the TP status pages instead of the current merged files from Git. So we could avoid such misunderstandings. Does anybody have an idea how to implement this in Vertimus? I'd rather add a specific notice on D-L about the potential statistics difference. Sending to master branch
Hello, I have a question regarding the translation submissions. Maybe I need to contact tp robot coiordinators? 1. How do I send master branch version of translation for e.g. http://l10n.gnome.org/module/gstreamer/ If I enter the gstreamer-master.sl.po, the TP robot returns error. It accepts only numbers as version. Thanks, Matej ___ gnome-i18n mailing list gnome-i18n@gnome.org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-i18n

The actual error message is: Hi! I am the service robot at the Translation Project, and was awakened by one of your submissions. *** As file name you supplied 'gst-plugins-bad-master.sl.po'. In this I cannot find the domain name, the version number, nor the team code. The file name should look like 'DOMAINNAME- VERSIONNUMBER.TEAMCODE.po' (all in lowercase). Some error reported above (marked with ***) prevents me from accepting your PO file. Sorry! But do not hesitate to resubmit your PO file, once you think the problem has been fixed. Hi, I think they use 'HEAD' insted of 'master', at least once I've sent a file to a HEAD-branch. And there should be a dot. So your file should be renamed 'gst-plugins-bad.HEAD.sl.po' My 2 centimes.
