Re: Infrastructure | Request for account to access gimp repo (#423)
Andrea Veri commented: @Wormnest that's a GNOME Account (aka LDAP account), not a GitLab account which is a different thing :) Account created, you can reset your password via: ssh -l jboerema account.gnome.org And login at https://account.gnome.org. Next cron run (within one hour) will bring your permissions in sync with GitLab. Jacob Boerema commented: @averi jboerema as username is fine with me. However you may want to adjust point 4 on the link you supplied because to me it suggests that keeping your name when you already have an account is ok, last part made bold by me: > However, in case your existing gnome.org account name does not fulfill the > above rules, you may have your gnome.org account name changed, **should you > want so**. -- Reply to this email directly or view it on GitLab: https://gitlab.gnome.org/Infrastructure/Infrastructure/-/issues/423#note_911604 You're receiving this email because of your account on gitlab.gnome.org. ___ gnome-infrastructure mailing list gnome-infrastructure@gnome.org https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-infrastructure
Re: Infrastructure | Request for account to access gimp repo (#423)
Andrea Veri commented: @Wormnest, the provided GNOME username does not match the requirements at https://wiki.gnome.org/AccountsTeam/AccountNamePolicy. I'd suggest jboerema, please note this doesn't mean your GitLab username will have to change, there will mainly be a binding between the two. -- Reply to this email directly or view it on GitLab: https://gitlab.gnome.org/Infrastructure/Infrastructure/-/issues/423#note_911293 You're receiving this email because of your account on gitlab.gnome.org. ___ gnome-infrastructure mailing list gnome-infrastructure@gnome.org https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-infrastructure

Infrastructure | Request for account to access gimp repo (#423)
Jacob Boerema created an issue: https://gitlab.gnome.org/Infrastructure/Infrastructure/-/issues/423 ### Account details 1. Jacob Boerema 2. jgboer...@gmail.com 3. wormnest (since that's my current account name, it's one of my ancestors' last name) 4. Jehan asked on irc #gimp if I would like direct access to the GIMP repo and sent me here. 5. Attached as requested.[id_rsa.pub](/uploads/82127841a84c96e0563e3c9df20ee812/id_rsa.pub) Please provide the following information: 1. Your full name 2. Permanent email address 3. Requested account name. Please note nicknames are NOT allowed (https://wiki.gnome.org/AccountsTeam/AccountNamePolicy) 4. Explanation why you think you should get an account 5. Attach (do not paste inline!) the public part of your passphrase protected SSH version 2 key pair (usually ~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub). Note: We require RSA (4096 preferred). Use `ssh-keygen -t rsa -b 4096`. Please make sure your key matches all the requirements listed at https://wiki.gnome.org/AccountsTeam/SSHKeyGuidelines. If your key does not match all requirements, it will not be possible to use it, and your accounts application will be significantly delayed. /cc @averi -- Reply to this email directly or view it on GitLab: https://gitlab.gnome.org/Infrastructure/Infrastructure/-/issues/423 You're receiving this email because of your account on gitlab.gnome.org. ___ gnome-infrastructure mailing list gnome-infrastructure@gnome.org https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-infrastructure
