Re: [GNC] ver 3.2 Fails to Display Graphics in "Tutorial and Concepts Guide" (main help file)

2018-08-09 Thread John Ralls
No, that's a different (and fixed) problem.

This problem is that the figures aren't getting included in the Windows
"compiled html" help files because the figures directory isn't in the build
directory and the image hrefs are relative.

John Ralls

2018-08-07 Thread cicko
If all you want is a quick workaround, I'd look at the Guide online:

https://www.gnucash.org/docs/v3/C/gnucash-guide/index.html

This should circumvent any issues you might have with reading the help
files.

Steve ,

There isn't a bug already filed for this. If you go to
http://bugs.gnucash.org you can register and file it as a bug.

Re: [GNC] ver 3.2 Fails to Display Graphics in "Tutorial and Concepts Guide" (main help file)

2018-08-05 Thread David Cousens
Steve,

That problem doesn't occur on Linux Mint at all so it may be a Windows
exclusive. It works fine on GnuCash 2.6.18 on my wife's Samsung TabPro
running WIndows 10. I just updated the Tab Pro to GnuCash v3.2 and as you
said the .png graphics in the help file do not show up. Possibly the
installer is either not loading the graphics or putting them somewhere
Windows 10 doesn't look for them. Over to the developers.

Steve,

Your first post had several answers. I think that whatever program
displays the help file is not rendering the figures. I do not have that
problem on my Windows computer.

2018-08-04 Thread GnuCashOrg
None of the "GnuCash Tutorial and Concepts Guide" graphics (.png files)
display on my computer. Can you suggest why and how to correct the
situation?

Here are the details on my PC (although I don't really know what might be
needed to answer my question).

. GnuCash 3.2 just installed

. ASUS laptop (advertised as a gaming machine, though I don't play
games)

. Windows 10 Home ver 1083, build 71734.165

. Intel Core i7 processor

. 16GB RAM

. Running 1920 x 1080 resolution

. NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050Ti video card

Thank you so much for any help/direction you might be able to provide.
