Ah, why haven't I seen that before? Edit > Preferences > Scheduled
Transactions > Show notification window (not).
Thanks John, hopefully that will get rid of the messages.

For what it's worth, I also set all my scheduled transactions. I used to see
that message, but I have not seen it for a long time. I think the change
happened when I got religious about unchecking the "Notify me when created" box
in the Overview tab of the scheduler. However, that was a long time ago, so I
can't be sure I did not also do something else.

I see it all very regularly (on Ubuntu) so can't answer that one.

Thanks for that clarification, Colin. I have all my Scheduled Transactions
processed automatically, and had been unaware of the manual option.

I wonder why I haven’t seen this notification before?

I find that message a little confusing too. It means that two you
have entered with Create Automatically selected have been created, and
there are none that require manual creation. Personally I would
prefer it not to even tell me about automatically added ones and only
tell me about ones I must create manually, but I haven't found a way
to hide that message.

PS The log file created after the above is only 12Kb long, and contains three

Shutting down GC and restarting it doesn’t bring up the above message, but when
I close GC I get the 94 Kb log file I’ve referred to in a previous thread, with
what appears to be every Scheduled Transaction represented 4 times like this:
