ECC support for OpenPGP is defined in RFC6637[0]

Only the NIST P-curves are currently defined for OpenPGP although some
serpent and brainpool curves also works using the basic framework of
RFC6637 - these are also included in SKS. See e.g. [1] for discussion
on Ed25519 that is currently implemented in GnuPG 2.1 but does not yet
