That one is elusive indeed! I found it in the gpg2 manpage rather than the
gpg-agent man page (by simply grepping the source for GnuPG 2).

Should have shown up in 2.0 - this is a 2.1 feature.

That must be new. It's not in my gpg2 man page (2013-10-06; gpg-agent man page 
from the same day).

I have just been reading the man page of gpg-agent and found this:


--allow-loopback-pinentry
Allow clients to use the loopback pinentry features; see the option pinentry-
mode for details.


That made me curious so I wanted to do just that but: That is the only 
occurrence of pinentry-mode in the man page...
