Goanetters ! According to Sachin Phadte, History has to be stated as it is and he is right in saying so. I suppose he also agrees that history is not to be adjusted to propagate the hidden agenda of a facist political group which wants to merely divide young minds who are living in perfect harmony. Why is this so called history being forced on teachers by demanding a compliance report ? Such use of force exposes the hidden agenda of pigmy minded politicians who call themselves educated. The freedom fighters who were part of historical events have vociferously refuted the content of the CD in the press, cutting across communal lines of religion. Dear Goanetters, I am referring to the statement made by Tourism Minister Mathany at Dempe College a couple of days ago regarding education and learning. He rightly stated that merely having a valid certificate does not mean that a person is educated. A person who has obtained a certificate after passing the necessary exams can be said to be learned, but is he or she educated ? True education should have ethics as its foundation. In the same vein I could say that so much is said that we have an IITian as a CM. Even eminent persons speak of him as IIT educated CM. I think they should say IIT learned CM. For I fail to see much education in his manner of acting. He goes about like a spoilt college brat giving in to his whims and fancies while using our hard earned money. Nandkumar Kamat praised him to the skies on his birthday and equated him to Gandhiji, the father of our nation. A comparison of a pigmy hearted Parikkar with a colossus of a Gandhi who spread the message of love and peace and united India and died at the hands of a communal fanatic! The CM wants to live with the bollywood stars and not with the poor of Goa live along India. His RSS heart is seeking to destroy and not to build. Look at the destruction of the Fontainhas street vandalism, the attack on the Bishop's house, the blackening of a professor's face in the university, the attack on the hotel of Mathew Braganca at Mapusa, the destruction of the ice factory for an IFFI road, and lately the destruction of the young minds of innocent children with a falsehood and communal hatred through a CD , using the official machinery of the state of Goa. Can such a rakshas be a gandhian ? Has Nandkumar Kamat lost his bearings in the university lab?or has he received some nice slab for himself to trumpet the pigmy CM's tantrums? Mizeen

Remo's article has scored a bullseye and is an eye-opener for people like Mr Muralidhar and the noveau riche from Bollywood who are oblivious to what is happening a few meters beyond their protected IFFI enclosure. Mr Muralidhar and his comrades are all receiving such facilities at our cost. They are are nothing but wolves in sheepskin and to put it more bluntly, thieves in elegant clothes. I challenge them to take a walk from the IFFI protected area to miramar beach unguarded by body guards. They don't want to see reality. He and other film heroes and heroines are blinded by their wealth and squalor. Mr.Muralidhar's comment and comparison on Remo's intentions to perform at the IFFI does not hold weight at all. It is obvious that the Bollywood personality cannot stomach the bitter truth. Since the blinded don't know the truth, and the truth has been muffled by the goan Hitler only Remo's performance at the IFFI will give them a taste of it. Myzeen
