Just heard from a young priest-friend Fr Anthony that Fr Olavo Velho Pereira, the spokesperson of the Church in Goa, who was fighting a battle against cancer, died this evening at around 8 pm. In the course of my work, I've interacted with Velho Pereira, and he came across as a polite priest and a humble human being.
