Latin Connection is a new band formed by bassplayer Colin D'Cruz with the
intention of reviving the sound of Goa's Latin American roots. The band
features Zezinho Fernandes on vocals and guitar, Lester Godinho on drums and
percussion Darryl Rodrigues on keyboards and Colin D'Cruz on fretless bass.
The band's repertoire includes English, Konkani, Portuguese and Spanish songs
that used to be the sound of live music in Goa towards the end of the last
millenium and the beginning of DJ music.
Catch Latin Connection live at Cavala in Baga on the 28th of April, 8pm
onwards.
