The Goan security guards are from the PETS like system of Goa
Contract Labour Society created during BJP rule in Goa and still
headed by a BJP man [No prizes for guessing who is the President of
the labour Society].
If anyone expects Rane to be comfortable with such Security in the
Goa Assembly at a time when [according to Dr.Carmo da Cruz] Parikar is
trying to become CM again, one only has to see a clipping of what
happened in the Goa Assembly when Manohar Parrikar was the CM and
Filipe Neri Rodrigues was physically pulled out of the main hall
by policeman dressed as Marshals.
While I would love for Goans to be employed in Goa, this particular is
hardly the place to begin it.
The BIS is a professional outfit headed by ex-Servicemen who have
fought to defend India and whose colleagues liberated Goa in 1961.
Yes, the same type of ghattis like Ram Manohar Lohia , Gen.
K.P.Candet and other persons detested by the likes of Rajan and other
xenophobics. The Kala Academy, the Goa University and other
institutions are guarded by BIS for many years.
Oh! I understand it is inconvenient for Parrikar not to have his merry
men in charge of security at the Gao Assembly complex from this
session onwards. But what is Rajan's problem? Why does it not agitate
him that D-Link employs 90 percent ghatti employees while its head
honcho in Goa talks about 80 percent local employees in SEZ of
Raheja's which is not in his control ...or the Goa Government's for
that matter. ;-)
To his advantage, I cannot ask Rajan where he was all these years,
specially during the BJP era. I know he was abroad ...as an
out-migrant from Goa and India. Indi perhaps ...but not ghatti ! ;-)
I will not call him that. To amcho Goycho pao, murre ;-)

Pratapsing Rane is out to destroy Goa. In no other state
would disregard disdain for one's own be tolerated like

The Bharatiya Janata Party today demanded the immediate
reinstatement of the Goan security guards who were removed
from their jobs at the Secretariat complex, Porvorim, the Goa
Medical College, Bambolim and the Kadamba Transport Corporation.
