I?feel, a person of this type of temperament should not be a part of any future Morchas. ? joego...@yahoo.co.uk I did mention in my account of the incident at Porvorim that Olinda Pereira (the lady in the picture you refer to) was coming towards me when I blacked out, when PI Gad touched her and then tore her blouse. She was mortified and turned on him and tried to retaliate, when he set the women police on her. That's the picture you see of her dealing with the women police. I am sure given the circumstances, your temperament would not be too sweet either. Diana

Even if you say the lady in question, under the circumstances, was well within her rights to defend herself, I believe you because you were there and I wasn’t. Infact, I was not expecting any reply, since you have come back, here I have another query (not relating to the lady though) In a news report (NT dtd 18/5/10) it was said 28 activists were arrested for rioting. The Porvorim Police alleged that many of the activists have given false names and that further investigations are in progress. It also say that they were later on released on Rs.10,000 bond each. Why some activists preferred to give false names?
