It is very appalling that after all that talk of Zero Tolerance to
Corruption the BJP even dared consider the name of Rajendra Arlekar who is
facing corruption charges. The court has adjourned to 12th November
arguments in the disproportionate assets case against him.
While Goa rejoices and is relieved with the exit of Manohar Parrikar and
his sidekick Advocate General Atmaram Nadkarni, the focus now has to be to
bring Goa back on track after all the mess and controversies created by
Manohar Parrikar. But in Manohar Parrikar's departure what is Goa's gain
may sadly be India's liability. We shall soon know.
