Is this the way a woman treated in Goa under BJP Rule? I have also changed the description of my own video footage as Nationwide Bandh sponsored and forced upon the people by BJP in GOA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hQMFkCXb4bk Pl note, it’s was not 12 hours bandh as stated but 24hrs band as buses stay off the road the whole day and night so did the shops except some bars and petrol pumps which opened at 6pm. ‘Bandh’ should be banned in India, it’s unethical often supported and promoted by vested interests. I must say that I am surprised that JoeGoaUK is surprised. Does he remember the immediately previous Bandh? Was that voluntary? Personally, I am happy that the business owners were happy with the Bandh. The understanding is that several crores of rupees were lost in Goa alone. In return, however, the business owners got a well deserved break. It is possible that there should be a total Bandh on at least 6 days every week. That is how the gorrment chaps work (or don't) anyway. BTW: IF the CCP chaps were involved, do expect the resident Hactivist to send off another letter to whoever - indicating, inter alia, that during the Bandh, there were No traffic jams in Goa. jc Pardon any Typos.
