Hey Mario,

What about your name? Is it Greek?

Mario responds:

Hey, Bernardo,

I was not the one making absurd connections between people's names and their
religions.  That's what YOU were doing.  Let's remind everyone what you wrote:

Quote:
Felt like strange with these names - like how to place them religiouswise. The
use of first names is another funny caste thingy among catholics. The
bramanekas use hindu names and the sudrekas Bridish. In Bombay the minorities
are under pressure from fanatics. I think that Jorge meant was - which side are
you with this combination of names.
Unquote.

"The bramanekas use hindu names and the sudrekas Bridish."  So, what does
that make YOU?

Besides, how do YOU know what Jorge "meant"?  Can you read minds over the
internet?

Hey Mario,

What about your name? Is it Greek?. In Goa your surname has been basterdized as
Goyoh!

Were your ancestors hung by their feet and deposited in a banho for conversion?
Just asking!

Hey, Bernardo

What are YOU doing with a strange Portuguese sounding name?that?your ancestors
were forced to take by some Jesuit priest who was twisting their arm with one
hand?while he was baptizing them with his other hand?

You have obviously been gone from Goa far too long and still think of names as
"Hindu" and "Bridish" - while carrying a "Portuguese" name yourself.

Are you being a comedian, or what?
