Around 2 weeks ago an exchange slipped through the net bringing in Covid to Macau and into the community. The whole family of four were infected with the Delta variant. The government machinery got into action, red zoned the area where the infected family were living. Thereafter tested the whole population in 3 days plus the results. The current population in Macau is six lakhs. Touch wood there is no infection yet other than the family who is undergoing treatment. Maybe measures like the wearing of masks, continued social distancing, testing for temperature and closing of borders has helped. BC
