The Goa Su-Raj Party is happy at this first salvo from the New PM, that of a
drastically reduced CABINET.
Looks like Mr. Modi has done his homework well and somehow got hold of the
GSRP's ROAD MAP FOR GOA where under the GSRP rule, Goa will have and can have a
maximum of 5 member Cabinet including the CM. Besides this first salvo, GSRP is
anxiously awaiting to hear from the New Prime Minister that 'OFFICE OF PROFIT'
for elected people's representatives shall be eliminated entirely just like the
GSRP Constitution forbids any MLA to hold the office of Chairperson of any
Government Corporation or Govt Institution. These offices shall go to the
management qualified persons with experience on hire and fire basis, which is
not possible with MLAs heading such offices as gift for appeasement.
GSRP is keenly watching in anticipation.
However, GSRP congratulates the initiation of the new 'mantra ' LESS OF
GOVERNMENT and MORE OF GOVERNANCE' in the MODI administration which this
nation has been lacking since its birth.
