In search of Abbe Faria: The hypnotic vision of a Goan pioneer Kator re Bhaji: The year 2006 marks the 250th Birth Anniversary of Jose Custodio de Faria, a son of Goa, who is widely regarded as the father of hypnotism. Isabel Santa Rita Vas embarks on a journey to document the history and achievements of Abbe Faria through a series of interviews with people who have studied or encountered the Abbe in some way or the other.
