Hi Marshall,

An obvious reaction from you, yours was the last I expected, I was hoping a lot
of that would come from local Goans and in fact that was purposely done, so as
to snap up, some of our Goans who are blindly following the Congress all because
the lesser evil is the better evil. It was a hypothetical question, I wanted
the people to know the monstrosity of the situation if there was no option or no
alternative but then I also wanted to let the people know that we have the
option in GSRP. Both the National Parties have failed and failed miserably for
Goa and Goans so our only option is to look for a regional party to that will
favour Goa and Goans. And that's the GSRP

Marshall, like you and me, a lot of Goans have a phobia for the BJP too and the
SOB's in the Congress are taking advantage of this situation to feather their
own nests at the cost of Goa and Goans, you have not been to ground zero
reality, I have, you don't know what it is to see the pathetic state of affairs
of Goa and Goans in Goa, I have gone from panchayats to police stations to
courts and being threatened by the police as well as the goons with our own
people aged upto 94 for the sake of our village and our environment. Like the
Mumbaikars, we too are fighting with our backs to the wall and I only hope the
resilience of Goans does not die a tame death at the hands of Congress or the
BJP.

I am very much aware of what's going to happen if the BJP comes to power and so
also that we will not be Goans in Goa if the damned Congress has another term
in Goa, that's the only reason I am pleading with all the blue blooded Goans
that if at all we see salvation it's in GSRP and to stop following the Congress
like Pied Piper in to the sea of oblivion

Dear Miguel,

Initially I thought you would be around the same age of Florian, that's the
reason for the Irmao salutation, in my last post, but now I think we could be
of the same age. Thank you very much for your interesting raconteur, I now stand
corrected about your love-hate relationship with Floriano which you state is
only issue based, I do appreciate you openness and honesty to that aspect but I
am still a wee bit disappointed none the less of your apprehensions and
perceptions of the GSRP.

Looking at Congress's not just lackluster but pathetic track record, I don't
think we can afford to have them in power, these guys are become so arrogant and
corrupt, that for Goa's sake they are not worth a second glance, suneachi
shampdie vankdi ti vankdich urteli, koshich nitt zaupachi naa, BJP on the other
hand will never get rid of their communal image and they are certainly getting
increasingly audacious by the day on that front.

If given a choice between the two and no other alternative, I would definitely
go with the BJP, reasons being I would surely know what to expect from them and
can get my self ready for the worse, whereas, In case of Congress, you just
don't know what to expect from them any more and they could very easily stick a
knife into your back when you least expect, and secondly the BJP is firmly
behind M. Parrikar so just one CM candidate who can control the situation
better, whereas in Congress you'll have10 people fighting for the CM's chair and
fragment the whole party and throw it in disarray. Lastly as far as governance
is concerned, Parrikar is far better than any of the Congressmen, it's just too
bad that Parrikar and Advani share the same intensity for communalism.

The UGDP and the MGP at the moment, the less said the better, so what pragmatic
solution do we have ? As I am surely gasping for some fresh air, somehow or the
other I can only see Florian and the GSRP handing me some oxygen to replenish
my aching lungs. From your statement that Floriano is a gentleman, I assume that
you have a high regard for him as far as his integrity is concerned, so why
don't we try to give him a chance to prove himself, what will the worse case
scenario be ? Goa and Goans have already been had and dismembered for the
last 46 years, we'll at least have the consolation of having tried something
different for the sake of Goa.

I do certainly agree with you 100% on the 73rd and 74th amendment to the
Constitution of India to be implemented in totality to empower the Aam Aadmi
through grass root level bodies. Power to the People, but till then we just
can't afford to sit with thumbs stuck up in out mouths and wait for things to
happen, if and when that power comes, it will be wonderful but till then we'll
have to take the initiative and do something tangible to get Goa and Goans out
of the clutches of these swamping vultures (our present set of corrupt MLA's and
their well based sponsors, the mining barons and the mega developers)

I did particularly like your well directed slimily of the Hero Honda ad -
fill it forget it the only problem being the 40-chor seem to be
continuously filling it without over flowing it
