A Memorial Service to celebrate the Life and Ministry of Fr James Pereira SFX (55) and to thank the Lord for his gift to our community is on Sunday 14 August 2016 at 3pm, St Peter & Paul RC Church, Cranmer Road, Mitcham, Surrey CR4 4LD . Fr. James from Calangute served the Archdiocese of Southwark attached to the Goan Chaplaincy formally known as Asian Chaplaincy over 16 years ago when there was no wi fi and folks actually spoke to each other. For those who knew him will remember a smiling Priest, friend, singer and comedian with an open door policy to all. The Pilar Fathers (UK) Fr. Lucas Rodrigues, Fr Anthony Fernandes, and Fr Patrick D`Souza- Chaplain to the Goan Chaplaincy and parishioners deeply mourn our loss in this service to pray together.
