500 Server error when trying to post a bug
For the last hour I have been unable to post a new issue to http://code.google.com/p/kobo/issues/. After clicking 'submit issue' it always turns up the familiar message: *500.* That’s an error. The server encountered an error and could not complete your request. If the problem persists, please report http://www.google.com/support/your problem and mention this error message and the query that caused it. That’s all we know. Are there any known solutions to this problem, other than 'wait and see'? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups Project Hosting on Google Code group. Copyright problems
Hi, http://code.google.com/p/wikiteam/downloads/list is hosting over 150 compressed archive files that contain copyrighted material. There isn't much actual open source code there to begin with, but rather, it seems the people running the project are using SVN as a file hosting service for copyrighted files. The project essentially copies a website's content without authorization and posts it online. Thanks. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups Project Hosting on Google Code group. To post to this group, send email to google-code-hosting@googlegroups.com. Question about hosting content.
I've started a project to try and create a collection of password dictionaries, since the ones that are found online are almost always either half-complete or filled with encoding errors. Password dictionaries obviously are very important when it comes to doing research into password habits, but also in terms of ethical hacking (either checking hashes in a database, or preventing users from using certain passwords). The section in the Project Hosting Policy states the following: *12. Generic File Hosting:* Google Project Hosting is meant for the facilitation of software development and the storage of artifacts related to software development. Storage of data that is not relevant to software development is not allowed without the express permission of Google. Now, I'd argue that password dictionaries can be used to facilitate software development, but if not, is there a way that I can get the express permission of Google to host them? If I can't, then no worries, I'll find somewhere else. Just wanted to make sure I'm not breaking any rules. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups Project Hosting on Google Code group. Edit: I should make it clear that any dictionaries I would post would be from public (i.e. leaked) sources, and purged of all personal information prior to uploading. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups Project Hosting on Google Code group. Problem pushing to git
I'm assuming this is related to the recent outage. I'm getting: $ git push -v Pushing to https://code.google.com/p/muddle/ Counting objects: 7, done. Delta compression using up to 2 threads. Compressing objects: 100% (4/4), done. Writing objects: 100% (4/4), 506 bytes, done. However, I pulled (from google code) into my other working copy of the project, and that seems to have retrieved all the changes I was wanting to push.
