wide linebreak after html code before embedded gwt application
Hi, I noticed there is at least two line linebreak after top html code before embedded gwt application in case of IE6/7/8, For other browser, this cannot be seen. E.g. html code body mymenu div id=gwtapplication/div /body There will be two lines after mymenu and gwt application. Note the application uses absolute panel which may be relevant. There is no problem if there is no mymenu like html code. A very simple text already produces this effect. Moving up the gwt application by repositioning the absolute y coordinate does not help because then the top of the application is hidden by the white horizontal wide line. Any ideas? Eclypse plugin not working in Eclipse 3.4
I am on Windows 7 and I use 1.7 version. I use Eclypse 3.4 and I install Eclypse plugin using software updates. It installed ok but I can see it is not installed properly.. I cannot create a new web application because there is no such menu. The project I created previously says import com.google.gwt.core.client.EntryPoint; cannot be found... for example. I cannot see the red gwt icon on which I could click. SO all it seems as if nothing were installed. So far I have tried these: -tried to update gwt in Eclypse, no change. -uninstalled gwt and installed ,no change. -installed Eclypse 3.4 in another directory and installed gwt, no change. -I tried Eclypse 3.5 with new plugin, I could not install that, it had dependendency problem. It is another problem. Note: this setup worked for me a month ago. I do not know what has changed. It is true I installed different kind of plugins for Eclypse but this should not be relevant as I tried gwt with new Eclipse where the other plugin- I assumed - could not interfere as they did not exist. Is there no New Web Application Project item in the File New menu? No. Could you try Window Reset Perspective to see if the items above appear? they do not appear. Usually this happens when there is a problem with the project's SDK. What SDK is the project using? You can check the status of that SDK by navigating to Preferences Google Web Toolkit. See if the referenced SDK There is no Google in that list. The new install,3.4.0 SDK version that is the new fresh which I tried. .log file exists but as far as I can there is nothing useful in it. There is no entry in it for today. It is Internet explorer 7.00.6000.16386 . I could not see any error. Internet explorer printed a message done in statusbar. I could not see any triangle. I could see the html part of page but not gwt application embedded. The code is not so small. It would not fit here. I can send you zipped. Basically, it uses one or two native javascripts functions, the rest generates the interface: checkboxes,textboxes, one abspanel, one notebook. No, I have not resiricted it. Since I asked this question, I came across the tool Ietester. I managed to find that the application works in Ie7,ie6 in ietester but it does not work on another machine where IE7 was installed. I guess it means that it does not work on certain Ie7 machines... gwt application does not run ie7
Hi, I created a gwt application It runs under current Chrome, FIlefox,Opera, IE8 but it does not under IE7. The program does not use ie7 specific code. Is it known bug? Is gwt not ok with ie7? cannot see the web application only in Internet explorer
Hi, I have a web application. I can see it only in Internet explorer. I pressed Browse/Compile button. I could see the application in Explorer. But when I copied the web address, I could not see the application in Opera 9.65 , in Firefox 3,5 or in Google Chrome.2.0.172 What can be the reason? Can you tell me how I can fix this? Problem with changing the font-size for Tabpanel
Hi,
I have a small web application. I would like to change the fontsize of
the tabpanel but I could not.
At least so it seems. I could change boldness.
I have tried to modify the css.
I had tried

What is the solution ,thanks?
