[gwt-contrib] Help testing the GWT 2.8 release

Hi all,

the GWT team needs help testing the GWT 2.8.1-beta1 release. As always,
before we publicize the release we are doing a bunch of DOA (dead on
arrival tests) before we open the release to the broader community.

Platforms that need testing:

   - Chrome (Linux or mac),
   - Window IE11,
   - Windows IE8
   - Window IE9
   - OSX safari
   - Firefox (Linux or mac)

We should have either chrome on mac and firefox on linux or the other way
around.

If you are interested in helping to test the release send me an email and
I'll share details with you!

[gwt-contrib] Cannot build GWT anymore locally

I cannot build GWT locally anymore. 
I guess this commit (
https://gwt.googlesource.com/gwt/+/b2b4f7a2dae2fd546af6aa23fa0ee3e636d5c9ec%5E!)
 
and the missing update for the tools (
http://google-web-toolkit.googlecode.com/svn/tools/lib/gss/) results in 
erros like "error: package com.google.gwt.thirdparty.common.css does not 
exist" :-(

After reverting the commit it works for me again :-)

Could somebody with commit rights fix this ... not sure why the build 
server is still running ... may there is is a new tools repository?

GWT tools repository has been migrated from Google Code to Github.

You now need to pull https://github.com/gwtproject/tools
