Well, the more things that are added the less useful it becomes for what I
used it for, which was quick builds of the jars.  Maybe there should be
multiple targets, or maybe it should be renamed to nosamples and mean
explicitly everything but the samples.

I can equally just add tools as a thing I know to build, yes... the
question is what's the desired semantic of buildonly?

Happy either way, since ant buildonly tools works for me for now.
