Same here (being a messy user this is an extra "safety" feature).

[GRASS-dev] g.remove rast prefered

2013-08-11 Thread Martin Landa
Hi all,

AFAR there was already discussion related to g.remove/g.copy/g.rename
modules. Before we start releasing GRASS7 tech-preview I would prefer
to change the current behaviour.

g.remove x
Removing raster
WARNING: Raster map  not found
WARNING:  nothing removed

to

g.remove x
ERROR: Invalid data element (valid options: rast,vect..)

->

g.remove rast=x

What do you think? Martin

#2059: WorldView2 relative spectral response data for i.atcorr
--+-

Comment(by nikosa):

 Apologies for abusing the platform -- I will try to be more patient before
 posting. I don't (didn't) know what the actual implications are when
 posting a comment here. If I did any harm, please, let me know if there is
 a way to correct it.

 Also, how can I post a new comment and at the same time attach a file?
 Possible?

 It seems that I picked the wrong "number" that concern (only) the
 description of the bandwidths for WV-2 (from
 [http://www.landinfo.com/WorldView2.htm]). Updated now from the official
 source (latest attached file).
