Comment (by SBL):

Would be nice if custom color tables could be picked up from one or more
user-defined directories that is refered to e.g. in an environment
variable (lets say GRASS_CUSTOM_COLORS) That way, anyone can add
institutioal or personal color tables, independent from the GRASS
 installation...

I think like svn and trac. However the backup for the git repository
is not needed since all the history is present in each copy of the
project, maybe could be useful for issue and PR

[GRASS-dev] GRASS integration in QGIS 3 - GRASSxQGIS terminology, divide parameters, splitting modules

2018-06-12 Thread Radek Novotný
Hi All,

I discussed some important topics about future of Processing Plugin with my
mentors. And I will very happy if you give me your opinion our conclusions.

Topics:

   - How to solve splitting modules in QGIS
   - What is the best way how to divide parameters of modules in Processing
   plugin QGIS?
   - How solved differences in GRASS and QGIS terminology.
   - How to parse questionable parameters?

Check wiki page [1].

I did not think about it before, but It could be desired efect.Beacouse it
is possible
to create english descriptions and import it manually to Processing plugin.
But every
user can manually create own description files in user language and then
manually
import them to processing.

That's true, I added topics from discussions with my mentors to wiki [1].
And I will send
info about new decisions to ML, so everybody can give his opinion on it.

AFAIU Anna is planning to backport these fixes later when 7.4.1 will
out (note that final is scheduled today). Otherwise we would need RC4.
I would go for final today. In three/four months will come 7.4.2 which
can include these fixes.
