migration has been done. Now you can enjoy [1] with working download
(zip/tar.gz) links.

[GRASS-dev] Git tag naming consolidation

Dear all,

today I started consolidation of tag names. In SVN times we used

grass_X_Y_Z

naming convention. In GitHub we switched to

X_Y_Z.

Old tags were planned to be renamed right after Git migration. It
unfortunately didn't happened. But better with delay than never ;-)

Both merged.

We have unfortunately delay with 7.8.3 [1]. I don't see any blocker to
start with RC1 ASAP. If no blocker issues appears in two weeks [2] I
would suggest to skip RC2 and release 7.8.3 directly after RC1.

PS: I used GRASS for teaching/training three times this year (Feb,
Mar, Apr). In all cases I was forced to use GRASS 7.9dev since 7.8.2
contains critical bugs for me (eg. Open button in Python editor
doesn't work). I hope to see releases more often if possible.
