to help I made a wiki table with all grass 6.4 modules:

table is now populated with modules with *.qgm files in

Great idea.
So I would need to create a wiki {{template}} with, i.e.
Present
Should be added
Should be removed (is this category really necessary??)
Not relevant
Not possible

Hi all.
I'm not authoritative here, but I believe we should target only current QGIS
trunk.
There has not been any backporting until now, so any fix will go on trunk only.

How about color coding the rows like the DebianGIS thermometer. (If
this idea is acceptable, I'm willing to do the wiki formatting.)

Yes, I think a rating crucial - important - minor or similar would be very
good to
help focusing our efforts.

Thanks a lot.

Anyone willing to carry on the work? For instance, I assume all d.* modules are
not
relevant for QGIS, right?
If we can come out with a clean list, we'll do our best to implement the

 Hi all.
In the occasion of the release of GRASS 6.4, I think it would be good to
 revise the
 current QGIS-GRASS modules. Specifically:
 - there are modules that IMHO are of no use, and potentially confusing (e.g.
 several
of those who manage projections, etc.)
 - there are new and useful modules to add to the toolbox
 - not all modules have been thoroughly tested.
I encourage therefore GRASS users to help us defining both a wishlist for
 modules to
be included ad a deprecated list, and to let us know if there are
 non-functional
modules, so they can be fixed.

Paolo - agreed, an important issue. Please suggest a
wiki page where we can collect responses.
