I have a bunch of files that are floating grid data. They have the file extension .flt and there is a header file .hdr. r.in.gdal reads in the .flt file fine, but errors out with the hdr. The gdalinfo spits out a res=0.3, but the attached metadata says that the resolution is 1m. Is there a way to find out what the reality is without talking with the folks that provided the data? Thanks for all of the help.
