I don't see any warning if I create the mask using either the gui or comand line command. I tryed to file a wish on trac but somehow I could not get it done I am not sure how to indicate that mask is used. See r38091 (trunk) and r38092 (devbr6) where the title of mapdisplay window is modified. Do you have better idea how to implement it?
