The output of r.stats.zonal should be as accurate as possible, thus in most cases a floating point output is required and produced. If you want to reduce the accuracy to integer, you can do so by creating a new map with r.mapcalc's function round() and delete the original output afterwards. Hi Ming, https://grass.osgeo.org/grass78/manuals/r.statistics.html r.statistics is not an add-on but part of grass core, so no need to install it.
