   * nwfilters were not usable if configured to use dhcp based learning

   * Fix by backporting upstream bug

  [Test Case]

   * Add the following to the interface section of a guest description in 
 libvirt:
   
 
   
  Then start the guest.

  Bad case:
  error: Failed to start domain VM1
  error: An error occurred, but the cause is unknown

  Fixed:
  Guest starts and works.

  [Regression Potential]

   * I thought a while on this. On first sight one might say there is a 
 regression risk due to increasing the size of the buffer. This risk 
 would arise on hyperscale environments where the memory consumption per 
 guest would increase by 2*128Kb*#guest-interfaces (not much, but can 
 sum up on MANY guests).
 But then I realized that this is only true for the use case using 
 dhcpsnoop which is
 a) clearly not the most common case
 b) failing to work at all before this fix
 So there can't be anyone today with a working setup that then runs OOM, 
 due to the setup either not using the feature (=no change) or failing 
 missing this fix.
 So I actually think this mem consumption increase is not an issue in 
 terms of SRU considerations.
 Due to that the only remaining regression would be users that had a 
 self-built libpcap without TPACKET_V3 to drive a workload like the 
 above, and even then only the rather small size bump is what changes.

  Check Error Tracker bucket and make sure version from -proposed doesn't show 
up there. Given that this happens a whole bunch we should know pretty quick if 
its fixed.

  [Regression Potential]
  The test being modified is designed to not report crashes that happen during 
logout. It's possible that some reports don't have a Date in them but in that 
case we couldn't compare the logind_session information to the Date anyway so 
those crashes would have been reported anyway. Regardless, the potential is 
that we'll have some more crashes reported about things crashing on logout 
which is better than the hundreds of crashes we get like this one.

  The Ubuntu Error Tracker has been receiving reports about a problem regarding 
apport.  This problem was most recently seen with package version 
2.20.3-0ubuntu8.2, the problem page at 
https://errors.ubuntu.com/problem/65cb22d7c29a308dad9368b971e1b8d6384c9089 
contains more details, including versions of packages affected, stacktrace or 
traceback, and individual crash reports.

  Connecting the Dell USB-C HDMI/LAN/VGA/USB adapter to my XPS 9360
  doesn’t quite work: I could not get my monitor to display a picture at
  all, regardless of which resolution I tried.

  A quick search on the internet revealed this patch:

  gfx/2017-March/124077.html. Applying it to the 4.4.0-122 kernel does
  indeed make the HDMI work

I released a new wireless-regdb yesterday with the changes needed for
this. I've also prepped an update for cosmic and handed it off to apw
for review. Once that's done we can backport to bionic at least. For
xenial we will need to confirm that the crda version is new enough to
ship with my public key first, otherwise signature verification for the
db will fail (as the new package will switch from building the db from
source to just shipping the dbs and signatures from the upstream
release).

  Change font dependency to recommendends

Status in kodi package in Ubuntu:

Status in kodi source package in Xenial:

Bug description:
  In kodi-data is a hard dependency for fonts-noto-mono and for fonts-
  noto-hinted. Please, change both fromo Depends to Recommends.

  Changing this allow for deinstallation of these two font packages,
  without breaking package dependencies in case these fonts are provided
  in another way via TeX Live installation. This mainly concerns Ubuntu
  users that use Tex Live, which are a lot, especially since Tex Live
  packages are still not up to date in Debian and Ubuntu.

  Changing to Recommends allow users to solve font conflicts (in this
  case the availability of the same font twice) easily and this change
  in dependency has been done for several other packages for this reason
  in the last few years.
