Trusty has reached EOL and Xenial has reached end of standard support, so I'm marking their tasks as Won't Fix. I've verified this bug on Focal and Jammy and found that apache2 on both systems accepts a worker name whose length is 256 chars, which, although not great, is the fix provided by upstream to this bug.
