Where were you surfing in Nashville? I've been to Tennessee several times and
haven't been able to find the beach.

Did you hear the one about.....

Did you hear the one about the Italian and the Norwegian who celebrated
Saint Patrick's Day in a Mexican restaraunt?

Hm. Why does this sound like a bad (and politically incorrect) joke?

Steve Giuntoli stopped by Las Cruces yesterday, sans GTS but with wife.
We had a pleasant enough time at my favorite Mexican dive Cafe y Cantina,
and I guess the margaritas were green enough to fit the day.

A very nice evening.

P.S. Back to the politically incorrect joke.know who's Irish and
stays in the back yard???

Brake Blleeder Review

I got my Motionpro Hydraulic Brake Bleeder last week and tried it yesterday
today. This afternoon it accidently fell to the bottom of my 11 liter
waste oil storage container...I won't be fishing it out any time soon.

It does kind-of have a one way valve, but the problem I had was that when
you release the brake lever, there is air induced into the brake line thru
the treads of the loosened bleeder nipple. I used thread seal on the
threads of the nipple base to no avail.

I got help (another person) after I had entrained air into all three of my
Beta
(clutch, and brakes) hydraulic lines using the MotionPro tool. I ended up
using a two foot length of poly tube, doing it the old fashioned way...
Pump, loosen, tighten...repeat.

I will be bleeding lines with a friend in the future, it's easier.

Robert, if you use the speedbleeders, you'll be able to do it by yourself
without any of the problems you mention. The biggest job is installing the
bleeders. After that the actual bleeding is a piece of cake.

Robert, due to the prompting of the guys on the list, I got a set of
Speed Bleeders last week and changed out all the fluids.

Piece of cake!!

They have a red sealer on the threads so they don't leak air backwards.
Try them, just be sure to cover your tank and fairing so you don't
drip brake fluid.
