Can you open a new thread explaining how the staff volunteers are going to get organized during GUADEC? Maybe the problem starts when we discuss the t-shirts before knowing about the volunteers. :) I can think of people that wouldn't be happy with this. Let's talk about real cases, if they exist. If any volunteer is unhappy with this, can you suggest a better item? However, a bit of humor won't harm anyone. Not sure if it's the most apropriate item. There are people who don't like girly bag you know ... :-D This is a most amusing statement :) I personally think that the lei is a good idea, and that if someone is uncomfortable with it, they don't have to wear it. (But who could resist being identified as a compatriot of the lei-wearing Quim?) At Linux.conf.au, we issued the (local) volunteers/organisers two shirts, one to wear and one to wash at night and hang to dry the next day. That what I proposed but it doesn't seem to please. We can have the combo T-shirt + hawaiian lei + red nose + whatever :-P I don't really care but voluteer need visibility, I thing.
