Re: [guardian-dev] guardian-dev Digest, Vol 101, Issue 11

2019-01-29 Thread nanu sonu
Der Hans,

thanks for the information. we have followed the following steps to make
tcp connection successfully

1) created connection to socks5 proxy using a tcp socket
2) send the handshake request
3) sent the method request

it is worked as expected but coming to tls its showing connection failed.
Do I need to have extra config in both client and orbot to make it work

your help

Re: [guardian-dev] Make connection to socks5 proxy of Orbot using TLS transport

2019-01-29 Thread Hans-Christoph Steiner

Orbot's SOCKS proxy port is a generic SOCKS proxy, so any TCP or TLS
connection should be able to use it, given the correct config.

[guardian-dev] Make connection to socks5 proxy of Orbot using TLS transport

2019-01-29 Thread nanu sonu
Dear Members,

I have successfully connected to the socks5proxy of Orbot which is running
on 127.0.0.1:9050 using TCP transport and also able communicate with my
server through orbot

but when I am trying to do the same using TLS transport even not able to
make a connection to it.

Can you please confirm me that whether it can be done or not. Your help is
much appreciated.

Thank you.

Regards,
Nanu
