Hi there - I don't have any specific information, but I am also looking. My 
ancestors, Venoix of Caens, also came over with William the C (Advisors), were 
given lands near Hastings and took on the name "Veness". If you here anything, 
let me know?

an Indian grocery on shields and bkackstone has wonderful cottons for 1$ a yard.
