history of crotched here manny times. I was amazed when i got a book : Our New
Clothes: Acquisitions of the 1990ies from The Metropolidan Museum of Arts.
There is a beautifull Robe a la francaise dated 1740ies, floral handpainted
cream silk moiré faille. It has crotcheted netting, cream silk fly-fringe and
polycrome flowers of silk floss. Crotcheted netting is made in a ecry
colloured thread. I didnt know crotching was as old as that! Bjarne
