No, it is a tunic, with no collar, just the collar band.

I didn't see anything like that under girls' or women's clothing. There a
beaded linen tunic with a keyhole neckline, but it has no tucks and no
collar
band.

I'm urgently trying to buy some Elizabethan clothing suitable for my
three sons to join us for re-enacting.

Are there any businesses left who sell good cotton or linen shirts in
a child's size 8 (x1) and 12 (x2)? I need them asap.

I'd love to also get some doublets and breeches, but need historical
accuracy. Machine sewing is okay.

Many thanks in anticipation,

I'm in Australia and we portray English nobility of the 1580s. I do
sew, but I'm sewing outfits for my husband's band and don't have any
time left to sew for my children. I would dearly love to have someone

I just can't find any more time to sew! Luckily my 15yr old daughter

It is the Kingdom of Lochac

Email the Seneschal with your situation and they may be able to find a sewer

List of their groups within Lochac

This last one will move things a bit quicker in finding a local group and

Gohn Bros. (an Amish supplier) sells colonial shirts in a more 18th-c.
style. They have them for boys--or they did when the catalog that I
have came out. Here's the description:

Ropp Colonial Shirts for Boys: two button closure, long sleeve,
regular collar, button cuff, wooden buttons. 6 oz. shirting, oxford
muslin, 100% cotton. Natural color. S(6-8), M(10-12), L(14-16)

As of the 6-year-old catalog that I have, they were $22.98. Note that
they're not white. You can get them with a stand-up collar (Jefferson
collar--costs $1 extra) or without a collar, but it might take longer.
They also have them in linen (still not white).

They are extremely helpful on the phone, but they don't take credit
cards (at least as of the last time I ordered from them).
