Re: [HCDX] [WOR] HLL2 Seoul Meteorological Radio, on 5855.5 kHz. (ex: 5857.5), with new frequency/schedule/format

2024-03-22 Thread Rob Wagner
 Hi,

Further to my monitoring last night, another look this morning at 2245
confirmed continued operation on this new channel. There does seem to be
some variation in the languages used and the order used. For example, at
2245, I heard Korean and what seemed to be an extended English weather
report. But these were not followed by Japanese or Mandarin reports - just
lots of unmodulated carrier. until I stopped monitoring past 2315. Strange.
March 21 (UTC time).

Re: [HCDX] [WOR] Myanmar Radio now on 5919.0 kHz.

2024-01-13 Thread Rob Wagner
Thanks, Wolfgang. I have also been monitoring 5915 at the same time as
you. Used the southern Thailand remote SDRs where the signal was also very
strong. The usage of 5919 remains a mystery.

All the best,

Re: [HCDX] Loggings 19-26 December

2017-12-27 Thread Rob Wagner
Dave et al,

Wonderful logs there from your dxpeditions. Fantastic! Would it be ok to use
some of these for my MEDXR blog?

One small point. 4KZ is in Innisfail, North Queensland and NOT in New
Zealand

All the best for 2018 to all,

Rob Wagner
