PHILIPPINES 9855 FEBC *1058 Caught IS w/ID routine, 1100 rel. instru. mx
and opening anmnt by M in lang. As I was listening, I recognized the IS but
couldn't recall what station. It was still too distorted and too weak to copy
the voice ID at the time. Doing a search of the freq, I saw that V.O. Turkey,
R. Netherlands, R. Cairo, DW, and V.O. Russia have all been using this freq
recently. I then tried to match up the IS w/those stns on the
http://www.intervalsignals.net/ website but didn't have any luck. While
scrolling through the list of countries, just by pure chance I stopped at the
Philippines and clicked on FEBC. Amazingly that was the IS and it matched up
perfectly!!!! Listened to my recording again and could then copy the "FEBC
Radio." ID between IS repetitions. Of all the countries/stations IS's on the
"intervalsignals" website, its incredible I found the right one so quickly out
of the blue!!! (16 April)

AUSTRIA 11955 AWR 2106 W tlking w/heavy African accent in EG over soft

Affairs" pgm. 2117 addr AWR Ghana, Valley View University, P.O. Box AF595,
Adenta-Accra, Ghana, and e-mail a...@gvu.edu.gh or phone 233-208704532. Mx
