2009-04-28 Thread ka4prf

Peru, 4790.00, Radio Vision, 0920-0940, Tuned in to nice Huaynos
type music with an ID by a male over the music. Significantly muffled
to make details difficult to pull out. This format continued with talking
over the music periodically during the time period. I noticed drifting of
the signal from 4790.03 to 4790.00 then to 4790.07 KHz and back.
This happened at 0928. I thought that it might be a "Tech" retuning the
transmitter. At 0936 promos and ID. The signal went from a fair to
threshold by 0933. (Chuck Bolland, April 28, 2009)

Ecuador, 3280, Voz del Napo,(pres) 0940-1000, Noted a female in Spanish
comments between musical selections. At 0946 comments continue
by the female. At 0947 something is happening? The signal begins to
fade badly almost disappearing into the noise. Sounds like the band is
deteriorating. It may come back, so I decide to wait awhile. At 0957
the signal did start to fade back, but not to it's original strength. It
only

reach to a threshold level. Checked back at 1013, and the signal had
faded back to a fair level. Nice. (Chuck Bolland, April 28, 2009)

Peru, 4775, Radio Tarma, 1002-1010, Noted a program of Spanish
melodies along with Spanish comments by a male. Signal was poor
with so much noise. (Chuck Bolland, April 28, 2009)
