[H] Video card ponderable ?
still on the fence to upgrade system do to $$$ :-o running a fx5900 (128 meg) on a 3200 barton with 2 gig of pc3200. system seems fine just looking to maybe play some newer games on the cheap. :'( looking at a 6200le for $50 ( 256 meg ) waste of time ? or possibly worth it in the short run ? of course a 7800gt would be nice. thanks fp -- Tallyho ! ]:8) Taglines below ! -- If you can't stay healthy, find a sickness you like.
RE: [H] Video card ponderable ?
AGP or PCI-E??? 6600GT's can be had for around a hundred or so. Best bang for the buck until you can go 7800 or 7900 series. Doom3 looks real good on mine. RE: [H] Video card ponderable ?
I know, I may regret it but Mark got me thinking for $50 more and I said WTF. Ordered a 7600GS and opted for the 512 meg version. It is Xmass after all :-} Tired of the same old games, COD, MOH, Wolfenstein, Doom. Time for some new demos even though I do like COD and MOH. I will 3dmark b4 and after now watch my MB blow caps :'( thanks fp At 09:05 AM 11/26/2006, Wayne Johnson Poked the stick with: At 11:01 AM 11/26/2006, FORC5 typed: AGP of course, I feel like a Dinosaur in this business lately :'( Don't worry as you have plenty of Dinosaur friends. ;-) ---+-- I'm a geek that loves to tweak. -- Tallyho ! ]:8) Taglines below ! -- Give the gift that keeps on giving; a female kitten.

Re: [H] Firefox and tinyurl ?
in IE it copies automatically. thanks been copy pasting and wondering why in IE I do not have to fp At 06:38 PM 11/26/2006, Wayne Johnson Poked the stick with: At 08:14 PM 11/26/2006, FORC5 typed: anyone know why FF does not paste tinyurl to the clipboard properly ? Sorry but I don't know what you mean. According to the destructions one is suppose to right click the link below the new url then select copy link location. When I do that with FF 2.0 the new tinyurl pastes just fine in whatever doc that I want. ---+-- I'm a geek that loves to tweak. -- Tallyho ! ]:8) Taglines below ! -- No matter what goes wrong, someone knew it would.

[H] IE/Firefox - Server not found...
Hey, On my daughter's laptop, tonight she cannot load any web page in IE or Firefox. She gets a Server Not Found error message. I have good connectivity to the network (she's wireless on a WRT54GS router and the associated S network card). And I can ping various sites. Any one got any ideas as to what's wrong and how to fix it? Thanks, Bobby
