[H] Adobe experts out there?
Every time I fire up Photoshop it gives me a warning that my monitor color settings are corrupted. I have been through the monitor calibration routine several times and as far as I can tell they are just fine. I was editing a photo I scanned in today and it shows up as black lines on a white background in every other application but in Photoshop the background is a creamy-yellow color. It was really bugging me because I thought it was wrong and kept trying to change it to white and was wondering why Photoshop insisted that 255, 255, 255 was this creamy-yellow color. Any clue as to how I can fix this? Unforunately, I checked the don't show this message again box on the warning when Photoshop starts up and I can't figure out how to tell it to ignore my monitor color profile. Brian
[H] RAZR Firmware ?
Anyone ever flashed their RAZR phone ? I am eligable for a free upgrade, my RAZR has been a PITA with lockups and I am not the only one. If I did not know better I would think MS wrote the SW :-} Been poking around MOTOX but very confusing. I want to fix my bug with just a firmware update ( if possible ) do not really want to change the flex or loose contact list etc. Just got my wife a new Nokia for Mom's day and it does this from the keypad like live update. I think that is cool. Maybe a newer razr would be a better option but hate to get stuck with another dud. r loose contact list etc. that should be on the SIMM which is movable to another phone.

[H] image contrast ratio
I am looking at two Dell Monitors , UltraSharp 3007WFP UltraSharp 3008WFP The only difference I can find is one has a image contrast ratio of 1000:1 and the other of 3000:1 Is this a big a deal as the price difference suggests? thanks!

I've done it on a Cingular RAZR V3 using the USB cable and some software from one of the Motorola hacking sites. Problem is even though it was supposed to be Cingular firmware I get a subsidy error on power up though the phone works fine. Cingular/ATT will do nothing to help you in this area unlike Verizon they don't have techs in the stores. Doubtful a flash will do much to help the V3 if that's what you have, it seems to simply be a flawed phone in the end. You can use the Motorola branded Phone Tools to transfer your phone book. [H] Update on Sapphire ATI HD3870X2 problem
Well I got my replacement card today and it has the same fan bug! I see no way to resolve this since Sapphire is mum on which models have the bug, would not say explicitly that a replacement direct from them would not have the bug, and of course would not do anything as far as cross-shipping covering all the costs. I have never been so pissed off about a purchase. Logitech with the $200 DiNovo lemon comes close but this is double that cost less support from the manufacturer. Again I will say, avoid Sapphire at all costs I don't care how many Thane has sold without problems as I now have had 2 with identical issues and no support.
