Re: [H] New mobo woes no Newegg love
Oh, forgot I was going to post a pic taken with the free microscope cam I bought with the token $25 refund I got from Newegg. So I basically made $25.00 on the deal in a sense because GTS covered full replacement cost. https://www.dropbox.com/s/87scp4nq6hl2ga0/Image4.png?dl=0 On the bright side I really like the Asus board even though it's the less expensive A model. That's a pretty bizarre problem. I don't know how 'the customer' could have bent back a few pins in the middle. I don't think the problem is the fact that Newegg doesn't inspect incoming (think of the number of each of thousands of products), but rather the idiot (probably a vice president) that made the decision to send the board back to you. Done and +10. Duncan On 09/18/2014 18:43, Thane Sherrington wrote: I apologize in advance for this OT post, but it's sort of an experiment, so here goes. Our 19 year old cat passed away in the Spring, and my wife is trying to get her picture on the Jones Cola bottle. My brother, who considers himself a bit of a Facebook guru with a massive following offered to get votes for her. I figured I'd see hundreds of votes pour in, but I think she got about ten votes that way (she has 33 in total, and my wife already got between 15 and 25 just from friends she emailed directly).
