Toyoda charger only states 120V, the PPL selling adapters claim this one will run on 240 but AFAIK does not make it a level 2 charger and not worth the risk. more home work thanks fuf On 12/1/2021 12:13 PM, Z Vaper wrote: It should say on the charger itself what the voltage range is. Re: [H] Off Topic - Book Promotion
Hi Steve, That's odd. I worked with an author who was using WordPerfect - I converted to Word and massaged the file a bit for layout reasons and then uploaded it with no problems. T
Re: [H] Off Topic - Book Promotion
Thanks, Thane. I am currently working with Createspace on the paperback edition (through Amazon). The tools are not user friendly. For example, if you just feed it the doc file you used for Kindle (which took it and created it's own format), it will choke and complain that you fed it the wrong format. Are you going to use Createspace? I've worked with an author who went that route. T
Re: [H] Off Topic - Book Promotion
Try to get it listed with BookBub, https://www.bookbub.com/home/ There, now do I get a free copy? J/K it’s not a genre I read. Good luck. That genre is crowded. Al E. That's the toughest part of self-publishing. Besides, did you see the price of the kindle version? Steve

Speaking of the old days... I sent my late Uncle an EXE that - when run - was a standard MS dialog box that asked What is the meaning of Life? If you tried to hit the Answer button, it raced all around the screen. Instead of laughing, he tried to have a long winded discussion on the subject. (The joke was on me...) Rick Glazier From: Neil Davidson I'm sure I've seen this as a powerpoint at one time or another. I tried to google for it, but couldn't find anything useful.

LOL, if anyone is dumb enough to have HTML turned on or be clicking on attachments these days it might still work. Personally I'd feel real bad for that kind of user though! [H] Off topic? Nope. THIS is hardware!
http://www.technologyreview.com/Biotech/18626/ Kwabena Boahen is part of a small but growing community of scientists and engineers using a process they call neuromorphing to build complicated electronic circuits meant to model the behavior of neural circuits. Their work takes advantage of anatomical diagrams of different parts of the brain generated through years of painstaking animal studies by neuroscientists around the world. The hope is that hardwired models of the brain will yield insights difficult to glean through existing experimental techniques. --- Putting you or me on a chip is still a long way off, but this does seem to be blurring some edges. What KB's work does NOT do, as best I understand it, is model the secondary channels of information in the brain. Chemical channels. -- -- -- G.
