Good evening.

I hope this email finds you well.

I am interested in learning if there are any books, written for
Pre-Schoolers/Kindergartners; who are African American and being raised
Jewish.

My internet search results continue to be extremely challenging.

I hope you may be able to provide some recommendations and or referrals.

Sincerely,

jackie gorden-platek

Re: [ha-Safran] A book about famous Jews

2017-11-25 Thread Dina Tanners
I think I found the book I was looking for: Jewish Heroes and Heroines—Their
unique achievements. It includes people in such diverse fields as sculpting,
chemistry, writing, pharmacology, etc. It was written by D Lyman originally in
1996. I just ordered a used copy and will see if it is what I was looking for.
Thanks for all those that offered suggestions.

Re: [ha-Safran] A book about famous Jews

2017-11-25 Thread Dina Tanners
Thanks Sherry. I appreciate all the suggestions so far but so far no one has
hit on the one I am thinking about. It also includes famous Jews from other
countries.

I wrote the owner of the judaica store ( now closed) where I worked at the time
and hope she remembers.
