So eventually when HDFS consumes it, we will consume HDDS via a Maven package. As of now Ozone releases contain hdds and ozone artifacts. Both are moved
together
This is the command from the wiki:

It was not clearly explained but it means that ozone/hdds/cblock/hdsl projects
are kept in the new repository.
Your question is valid, but I would follow the current release structure with
the repositories. When hdds will be stabilized it can be moved to a separated
repositories and both Ozone and HdfsV2 can depend on it. As of now Ozone and
Hdds projects are moving fast and together, but the original separation is kept
in [https://github.com/apache/hadoop-ozone]

When it all started, didn't we talk about possibility of multiple storage systems on top of HDDS and Ozone happens to be one of them? If so, why do we tie them together this way? Shouldn't HDDS stay in the 'core' ?
